3i's Technologies, located in Vineland, NJ, is a supplier of precision, dynamic weighing and batching systems. The company's recently remodeled 5,500 sq. ft lab facility outside of Vineland, New Jersey, is equipped to run equipment tests, develop prototypes and conduct short trial runs. Information, intelligence and innovation are at the heart of the company which aims to provide the products and business support services needed to ensure that today's manufacturing plants run with the ultimate in process efficiency.

3i's Technologies develops specific solutions for each process and emphasizes the importance of system performance first day and every day. 3i's Process Performance Assurance System is a unique software platform designed to deliver expertise to process problems and empower new levels of process optimization, using in-line, real-time data to achieve innovative process solutions.

Working with manufacturers to design systems that deliver performance throughout the total life cycle of the process, 3i's Process Performance Assurance System provides performance tracking and accountability. They move beyond the simple performance metrics of cartons or pounds out the door or "uptime."  The 3i's approach analyzes process basics such as raw material usage and cost tracking, precision feeding and batching performance monitoring, mixing and blending segregation prevention, alarm handling and historical data storage and management.

John Pettit brings 30 years of material handling, controls and systems engineering experience to 3i's. John had a 20-year career with K-Tron International, the New Jersey based leader in feeding and material handling, serving as Vice President of sales, marketing and engineering at the time he left. During his time with K-Tron, John established a reputation as an expert on gravimetric and volumetric feeding and its role in process improvement, writing a number of technical papers and making numerous industry presentations. Over the last ten years John has been active as a controls, process improvement and systems engineering consultant. John earned his engineering degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
